Whim ‘n Rhythm is excited to announce auditions for the class of 2026! Whim is also proud to remind everyone that we are an all-gender SSAA group, and everyone, regardless of gender identity, is welcome to audition. Auditions will take place February 14th-16th in the Branford/Saybrook room. ​​​​​​​​

Audition Materials
The audition will consist of warm-ups, ear training, pitch matching/call and response, a blending quartet exercise, a solo of your choice, and a short interview. For the blending exercise, you will be singing "Softly, As I Leave You," measures 1-17, in a quartet with current members of Whim. Please prepare a voice part of your choice - we suggest trying all four and choosing the one you feel most comfortable singing, even if it isn't your usual voice part. For your solo, please prepare a verse and chorus of any song you feel best shows off your voice.
